I would love to hear your story? What are the experiences that shaped who you are today?

Meeting my husband and having two amazing sons that have made me laugh and cry.

Tell about the time in your life when you felt the most powerful?

Graduating from Wellington teachers training collage on the same day I turned 40.

What is your inner attribute that you like the most?

I think that I am a kind and empathetic person, but I do not like people that don’t tell the truth.

Are you at ease with your own body and age?

Yes, I am I love that I feel the best I ever have at this point in my life, turning 65 and having time to spend with my husband and family is exciting.

What would you try to do if you felt that you couldn’t fail?

Nothing, if I really want to do something I will always try and use the experience as a learning experience.

Research shows that a lot of women want to know that the work they do is significant, meaningful and embodies their highest potential. What do you think?

I have loved being a teacher and still believe that it is an important job. I also believe that being a mother is an honour and would not change anything that I have done.

What words of wisdom, based on your personal experience, would you like to share with others who struggle to see their own inner light and inner power?

Stay true to yourself no matter what. Go through life hurting as few people as possible and keep friends that give you strength around you.

Who are the women that you find inspiring and have influenced you in some way?

My dearest cousin Bernice a truly beautiful person, God keep her soul safe. Pam who was my mentor as a new teacher and shaped me to be the best teacher I could be.
