5 generations of females in the studio, can you imagine how awesome that is. Folks, let me tell you, a 5-generation photo shoot is the ultimate girl power experience! Imagine getting the oldest female in each generation in your family together – from great-great grandma to the adorable little great-great-granddaughter – and capturing all that female strength and bond in one epic photoshoot. I had the honour and privilege to do just that.

Sandra was an applicant for the 50 over 50 Project and in her application she had mentioned that she would love to have a generational shoot. Bring them all, I said and I’m so happy she did.

The photoshoot was one big love fest and a fun dress-up party rolled into one. It was seriously amazing.

After the hustle and bustle of the shoot was over, the poignancy of the moment slowly dawned on me. I had taken a collection of stunning images that showcase the love and connection between five generations of women. How epic and rare is that!

These photos will be seriously priceless – whether displayed in a family photo album or hung on the walls of a home, these photographs will serve as a constant reminder of the special bond between these women and the enduring strength of family.
